Old buildings around Omonia are getting a second life in the hospitality sector, with funds from abroad . One of the latest examples is the brand new VISION Omonia on the site of an old building at the junction of Chalkokondili 36 and September 3rd.
The hybrid hotel has 42 rooms and suites, with surfaces ranging from 26 to 60 square meters, and is a venture of FINDERS and its affiliate VISION Greece, a company launched with Israeli funds in 2014 with multiple markets, mainly in Athens and Crete.
New accommodations will follow in Akadimias, Ermou, Gazi, Metaxourgeio, Exarchia, but also in Crete.
This is the second project for the “Luwian Athens Boutique Hotel” at the junction of Piraeus 10 and Zenonos streets , with 49 rooms, dining areas and a terrace overlooking the Acropolis and Lycabettus. The building belongs to the CTY Group with investors from China and the Netherlands, in an investment of more than 8 million euros.
