Greece will become the second country in Europe to expand the Benedict restaurant network, after Germany, in early 2025. Specifically, as FOODReporter is informed, the first Benedict restaurant in our country will operate in the center of Athens, at the Vision Omonia hotel on Chalkokondyli Street, as part of Benedict’s exclusive collaboration with the Vision Greece brand, which manages the hotel in question, in the interests of Israeli businessman Amir Mamou.
The restaurant is scheduled to open in late February or early March, while the road is open for the chain to expand to other parts of Greece. The originality of this restaurant chain, which started in 2006 in Israel (where it has 15 stores) and then expanded to Berlin, is that it focuses exclusively on breakfast: the Benedict menu mainly includes dishes with eggs as the protagonists, such as omelets, eggs with sausages, and of course eggs Benedict, which gave the chain its name. However, the restaurants are not only open in the morning, but 24 hours a day.
As the creators of the concept say: “We believe that breakfast is a type of meal and is not defined by the hours we consume it. Not when you eat it, but what you eat. Benedict’s breakfast kitchen is open to breakfast lovers everywhere, every day, all day. Adventurous people who break the routine, for whom breakfast in the afternoon is a wonderful way to start the night, are also always welcome.”
